Shawn Sims, architecture student from Pratt Institute, is creator of synapsesfire.net, a working manifesto and framework for future research groups. Synapsesifre was formed as a collaborative studio searching for new ideas about the implementation of form.
syn·ap·sis (sĭ-nāp'sĭs) pl. syn·ap·ses (-sēz) (New Latin, from Greek, sunapsis, point of contact) they allow the neurons of the central nervous system to form interconnected neural circuits. They are thus crucial to the biological computations that underlie perception and thought. Within these gaps lies the impulse that forms the architecture of our memory.
